East Meadow and surrounding communities are preparing to come together to honor the life of 21-year-old resident Antonio Bosotina, who tragically lost his life after being struck by a school bus in Hicksville on Tuesday morning.

According to police, the fatal incident occurred during the early hours of Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the local community. Antonio’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones devastated, as they struggle to come to terms with the loss of a young man remembered for his vibrant spirit and kind heart.

In tribute to Antonio, loved ones shared details of a candle lighting and memorial service on Facebook. The candle lighting is scheduled for Friday, January 9, at 6 p.m. and will take place at 100 W.
